Well its arrived ...
I obtained the Quansheng UVK6, a bit of searching on YouTube and you will find that this radio can be updated with a variety of firmware to perform different functions.
The radio has only been in my possession for about 24hrs, its paired with the UHF/VHF tactical folding antenna sma-female (AR-152A CS)
I will endeavor to post my experiences with the radio, though this will be my personal opinions on the device.
I do fortunately have a Baofeng radio though outside of listening to UHF CH40 it didn't yield much results other than collecting dust.

Personally I have not had much time to sit down with the radio however that said it gives plenty of options and various bands and there is also a hardware upgrade to include Shortwave HF frequencies also.
At the moment I've had the radio setup with the downlink frequency for the International Space Station
