Yes as normal, my battery swelled
Anyone want the case with the small circuit?
Red, White, Black to battery, I'm not going to poke around in there.
It's a 546 slim battery

Re: SDS100 Swollen case
Just the circuit board, free. Well it's the whole battery pack, just swelled.
Unless you live local in Melbourne, I'm not going to post the battery.
I haven't seen anyone say it will catch fire, but it was a effort to get the thing out, then it just expanded in real time while I held it.
Need a replacement, but the only place is Southern Eastern Comms and they want $14 postage which is a deal breaker on a $140 purchase.
It's a common issue with swelling, there are threads on this at RadioReference. There was talk about a fake battery to make the scanner think it has one, but nothing happened. Some people had it swell outside the radio for months, they just go bad.
So maybe the circuit board would be of use to someone.
You can still run the radio without the battery, you just loose replay, just power it via USB.

If you notice your Green/Red Light go off, or battery showing --
Remove it and place it outside.
The problem with the SDS100/200 radios, is they are no longer really supported since the main developer passed away.
Still a good radio for the age, but no longer really supported.
